Hello there 🙂 My name is Tong V. Wang (王童 in Chinese) and I'm an Associate Professor of Behavioral Economics at the Institute for Advanced Economic Research, Dongbei University of Finance and Economics (Dalian, China).
My research interests are, broadly speaking, behavioral economics, judgment and decision making, and decision making under risk and uncertainty. In particular, my recent research is on information aggregation (developing/testing/improving wisdom-of-the-crowd algorithms). I've also always been interested in looking into people's real-life decisions (e.g., players picking lottery numbers and students filling in online teaching evaluations).
